My thoughts on the UK book cover is that it is flows throughout the series of a model posing with a pale face and red lips. 

First impression of the book is that there is yet again another catch up of the story which is quite short and to the point unlike the House of night series which repeats the situation at the house of night  at the beginning of every book.
